Name: alala [ al-lay-lah; war goddess - opposite, female term of ares ]
Species:
african lion
Gender:
female
Age:
five
--
Appearance:
alala's body is that of a chistled statue, herculean goddess material against anything. a bronzed coat-tone met the beholder's eye, each muscle given to the lioness flexing beneathe the thin barrier of skin and flesh. alala's back was structured, dipping in slightly at the middle-ridge and curving into the tailbone. along the tail came the thick pile of fur, her's being black however.
there was no way alala could be mistaken for emaciated. her thick, muscular stomach dipped in at the pelvis - giving enough room for her bulky legs to stretch out. along her body, she carried many war-wounds small to big, big to little. there was nothing nice about her, her appearance brought out the menace many worked on to obtain.
Personality:
alala is a hating creature, blooded into that of the ruthless. she isn't a people person and her people skills are lacking extensively. however, she's never been one for many words as much as her actions continue to reach out in explaination. this god-like lioness is quite the complex creature, often weeding out the weak and faint-hearted in her life to secure a better future. she won't speak to weaklings and is often known to be testing many of their well-being. are they safe to be acquainted with? or will they get her killed in the long run?
she fears no one; bows down to but one king. her roar is the almighty sound in her eyes, basically. if she sets her mind to something you can't tell her anything but that. she will do as she please for as long as she lives, but her retaliation isn't naive. alala thinks much over before she even concerns herself with taking actions; yet she's nothing perfect and her anger can sometimes consume her in the worst ways, clouding her vision on things. hateful. she is. she doesn't appreciate anyone and her trust is something you'll have to take time to gain.
in the end, however, she's a really loyal personel to have on your side. her wrath is something terrible, she's nothing new to fighting. kindness isn't something in the issue of becoming friends, but she will tolerate you a great deal and aid you in many of the things you find troubling. another thing is children. she hates them with every fiber of her being. she'll never appreciate the fluffyness of them or their cute little ways of stumbling around. she'd rather devour them for a snack then watch them make fools out of herself - give her a kid that thinks and acts like her and she'll maybe give it a couple months before she consumes it.
Advantages: strong, intellegent,
Disadvantages: unfriendly - trouble joining prides, crude, sexual comments often get her in trouble, almost insured never to have a relationship.
History:
on a scorching summer evening, balaa gave birth to three children each carrying something special about them. in tsavo, kenya balaa reigned supreme with her pride of vagabonds and rougish creatures - the name being placed as kubali. their father, spartan, was a ruthless king whom found delight out of bloodshed. tsavo man-eater blood raced through their veins, unpurposely though still apparent.
anyways, balaa gave birth to three children: achilleus, alala, and banquo. they were beautiful children, praised by aphrodite when created. achilleus, the first born, was a rugged looking male with the same two-toned mane as his father. it was a beige at the top and a dark black at the bottom. his eyes were a crystal, blank color despite his perfect eye-sight. he was unique. the second, alala, was a tough, ruthless little girl from the start and she often beat her eldest brother in fights. she was a golden-bronzed complextion. heavy-packed in the muscle area, she was a true olympian goddess in the eyes of men.
the last, however, was the oddest and even though he was the oddest balaa treated him with the most appreciation. the young child wasn't lethargic, perse, as much as people would've thought. around the first year, though, he remained without a mane and the fringe of fur around his ears and neck continued to be the lacking part. he held the suave, natural voice that his brothers and father's held but the mane was considered a mistake. however, it was simply his tsavo lines coming out.
anyways, the lived the best life with their studies being mainly on gore and bloodshed. around the second year, unlike her brothers who'd left the first year, alala left out to find sanctuary in another land. she wanted to somewhat be the biggest of the baddest in someplace - since her mother was there she wouldn't quite fit in.
