Subforum - African Village
The supreme mother and guardian of the land. This great river feeds many of the tributaries that wind through the whole savanna, forming the occasional oasis at times. It is a glorious sight, for all that its waters become frequently muddy from constant travel and use. Prey tracks can be found along its shores, and many animals will risk facing a crocodile or hippo to cool off in its murky depths. In the worst of summers, it can recede to a thin, barely flowing stream. But after the rainy season and through most of the year, it is a crucial and beautiful element to the struggling wildlife of Mirage.
